Infographics, interactive articles and publications that connect a university with its communities.

I contributed to editorial planning for the university’s WeChat account, producing themed pieces around milestones such as the start of the academic year and graduation. Infographics and interactive articles helped make detailed information easier to read.
I am credited as Design Director in the university’s 2023 and 2024 yearbooks. My publication work also involved visual proofreading and printer liaison, connecting design review with the production process.
Illustration and information design welcome a new class into the university community.
Two editions of graduate-outcome reporting, presented through their visual systems and selected information graphics.
A blue-and-cream visual system connects the report cover with charts on graduate profiles and career destinations. Short headings and consistent chart styles help readers move through detailed information.
An illustrated information system links the report’s opening image, graduate destinations and further-study data, balancing an institutional report with an accessible mobile reading experience.

Students reimagined familiar campus scenes with Midjourney, exploring different visual styles within a swipe-based article. My contribution was design and layout guidance, together with the initial review.
The 2024 edition pairs a deep-blue visual identity with yellow graduation-cap motifs. Portrait openers, numbered profiles and bilingual text create a consistent rhythm across individual graduate stories.
The 2023 edition opens with a warm geometric cover and a photographic tour of campus. Graduate portraits combine generous white space, expressive names and documentary images, balancing personal stories with the structure of an annual publication.
My role: Design Director, as credited in the yearbook. The selected pages show the relationship between campus imagery, profile openers and long-form editorial content.
Selected design credits — Design Director: Lu Kang; book cover: Zhang Yixuan; design team: Gu Qian, Chen Siqi, Bi Shiyue and Chen Xiao.
